Welcome at Yangon International Airport. Transfer and check in at the hotel. Orientation tour Yangon if time permits. Visit the colonial area, Sule Pagoda – the landmark of Yangon City Centre, Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha Image – 72 meters long huge colossal image. Finally, visit to Shwe Dagon Pagoda – one of the wonder of the world. Overnight at Yangon.
In the morning, drive to Kyaikhtiyo (176 km, ~ 4 hr). You will arrive at Kimpun base camp and be driven-up by open truck (~ ½ hr) to the camp of Yathe Hill (OR) driven-up till to mountain summit.
If you stop at Yathe Hill, from there, you have to walk up to the mountain summit (~ 1 hr). And visit Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock), which is perched on a rock 1100 meters above sea level. Visit Golden Rock pagoda & surrounding mountains nearby. Overnight at hotel.
In the morning, trek down (~45 min) to Yathe hill (OR) driven-down till to Kimpun Base Camp by open truck (1 hr).
If you walk down to Yathe hill, you have to take open truck to climb down (½ hr) to Kimpun Base Camp and then drive back to Yangon. Along the way, you will visit Bago, an ancient capital of the Mon Kingdom. Highlights includes: the Shwethalyaung (the most beautiful Reclining Buddha in Myanmar), the Bago Market, Hintha Gone Pagoda (for panoramic view) and pottery making village. Arrive to Yangon in the afternoon and check-in hotel.

Morning flight to Bagan. Begin our exploration of Bagan by visiting a busy local market and gain an insight into the bustling market atmosphere in Bagan. You will spend the day exploring the architectural masterpieces of this amazing town by visit to a diverse selection of the most important pagodas and temples.
Also visit a local lacquerware workshop and watch men and women ply their craft using traditional methods. In the late afternoon climb to the top of the Temple for sunset views. Sit back relax and be amazed by the beauty of Bagan as you watch the sun slowly set behind the ancient Pagodas. Overnight at hotel.
You may continue sightseeing Temples & Pagodas and villages in the morning or take excursion trip to Mount Popa (45 km drive), an extinct volcano with spectacular views, 4981 feet above sea level. 777 steps lead up to the Buddhist shrine place on the top of the Popa peak.
On the top of mountain there are monasteries, pagoda and shrines indifferent styles. In the mid afternoon back to Bagan and you will explore Bagan from a different perspective as you explore the area by Pony cart. The cart can explore areas that cars are unable to enter giving a different feel of Bagan. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, fly to Heho, gateway to Inle Lake. From Heho drive to NyaungShwe and transfer to your hotel for check in. Enjoy the full day tour by private boat in Inle lake. Visit the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most holy religious site in southern Shan State. Be amazed by the local handicrafts, silk weaving, wooden handlooms and traditional blacksmith methods along the way.
Visiting Inle Lake is not just about being on the water but also about discovering the Shan and Intha villages on the banks of the river. Pass the endless floating gardens, houses, monasteries built on stilts on the lake. Stop at Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery then proceed to Nampan village and see local cheroot factory (where the Burmese cigars are made) . Overnight at hotel.
Continue sightseeing in Inle Lake, manoeuvring by boat though long, scenic channels where you can watch the farmers cultivate their produce in “floating gardens”. You will visit the fascinating village of Indein, with it’s complex of ancient shrines and stupas and walk though exotic colonnades of stairways and shop stalls.
You’ll visit the “long neck” tribal women, and weaving and craft villages perched on stilts. See the lake’s unique “leg rowers” – the Intha people row standing up with one leg wrapped around an oar. It is a feast for the senses and a photographer’s dream. Overnight at hotel.
Morning flight back to Yangon. Then enjoy a visit to Scott Market, the sprawling 75-year-old Market. At the market you will find a whole variety of interesting Burmese souvenirs, from lacquer ware to gems & jewelry – bargain at the stores to fully experience the Burmese market atmosphere! Drive through the city and observe the influences of other cultures in the region.
Intersperse in the tour are various religious sites such as the St Mary’s Cathedral, built in 1899, and the Buddhist landmarks of Sule Paya and over 100 year old beautiful Rangoon Synagogue. In there you will have the opportunity to meet with Trustee of the Synagogue to learn the Jewish Life in the Pagoda Land.
Then visit Little India and Chinatown – stop t o greet the vendors and let them introduce you to their wares – some familiar, some exotic. Overnight at hotel.
