|DAY 1||Arrival to Yangon – Whole day Sightseeing in Yangon City||[-/-/-]|
Mingalabar and welcome to Myanmar! Upon arrival at the airport you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to you hotel for check in (check in possible from 2 pm. Subject to availability).Visit Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda, Afterwards, you continue through town in order to make a quick stop by the Royal Lake located in Kandawgyi Park. Catch a view of Karaweik Hall, a reproduction of a royal barge and enjoy a spectacular view of the Golden Shwedagon Pagoda.After sunset head on to Chinatown for a change of scenery and check out the dragons and incense of the colorful Khen Hock Keong Chinese temple. Explore the vibrant street stalls where vendors sell all kinds of fruit, vegetable and other goods or simply just walk around and soak in the atmosphere of this little China in Yangon. |DAY 2||Yangon – Heho – Inle Lake Sightseeing||[B/-/-]|
After enjoying your breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport flight to Heho. From Heho, you will lead to Nyaung Shwe, gateway village to Inle Lake.Along the way, you will have an opportunity to visit rural workshops, that specialize in traditional Shan paper and unique handcrafted umbrellas. Then you will board a private motorboat and begin heading out onto Inle Lake, one of Myanmar’s most spectacular and breathtaking sights. Along the way you will pass several villages that are built on stilts over the lake, which are inhabited by the local Intha people. Proceed to the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the lake’s main haven, which contains five sacred images of Buddha decorated in gold leaf. There are also many traditional crafts origininating on Inle Lake and , should you wish, we can stop for a visit to one making incredible woven items from lotus silk, boat builders (depending on the time of year), a cigar making workshop, blacksmiths or even silver smiths. The day will come to a close with a return trip by boat back to your hotel. Overnight stay on Inle Lake.
|DAY 3||Inle Lake – Taunggyi – Kakku – Ayathaya Vineyards – Inle Lake||[B/-/-]|
The tour will start with a drive by car from Inle Lake toward Taunggyi, the capital of the Shan state. The drive is crossing over the railway line and through small villages inhabited to the Pa-Oh people. Nestling in the Shan Hills, the origins of the Kakku Pagoda is the subject of much debate with the indigenous Pa O tribe believing that it has been here for more than two thousand years. After a lunch break you will proceed to the small cave at the village of Htan-Pha-Ya and a chance to admire the Buddha images that adorn its walls. Your knowledgeable Pa-Oh guide will also introduce you to the customs and lives of the people. If time allows, you’ll also make a stop at the Aythaya Vineyard that produces quality red, white and rose wine. Afterwards you’ll return in good spirits to your hotel by either car or boat. Lunch and Dinner on own account. Overnight stay on Inle Lake.

After enjoying your breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your domestic flight to Yangon.Book Now
