Day 01: Yangon – Arrival (Dinner)

Welcome at Yangon International Airport. Transfer and check in at the hotel. Orientation tour Yangon if time permits. Visit the colonial area, Sule Pagoda – the landmark of Yangon City Centre, Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha Image – 72 meters long huge colossal image. Finally, visit to Shwe Dagon Pagoda – one of the wonder of the world. Overnight at Yangon.

Day 02: Yangon – Mandalay (By Car + morning flight) B, L , D

This morning head to the airport and catch a flight to Mandalay. The departure time will vary depending on flight availability. The flight takes approximately one hour, and after landing it’s approximately a one-hour drive to the city and your hotel. Mandalay is Myanmar’s ‘Jewel City’, and you’ll savour the sights, sounds and flavours of this bustling metropolis on a city tour. Learn about the city’s gold-leaf pounding industry and visit Mahamuni Buddha, Shwenandaw Monastery and Kuthodaw Paya. Head to Mandalay Hill in the evening and catch a spectacular sunset over the city. Tonight you might enjoy a walk to one of the markets, where a great time can be had enjoying the hustle and bustle or bargaining for local wares. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Mandalay- Mingun (Car + Boat) B, L , D

Spend a free morning at your leisure before regrouping in the afternoon and making our way down to the city’s waterfront. The lively scene offers an interesting backdrop for your boat trip upriver to Mingun. Head to the archaeological site of Mingun, the location of a number of interesting sights, including the world’s largest (albeit unfinished!) pagoda – Pahtodawgyi. It’s also home to the world’s second largest ringable bell, the beautiful white Hsinphymae Pagoda, and temples dating back hundreds of years. The river is effectively a major trading, communication and commuting route and a wide range of different boats, barges and steamers can be viewed along the way. The journey usually takes 1 hour on the way there, and 40 minutes on the way back. Enjoy a free evening to soak up the beautiful riverside life in Mandalay.Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Mandalay – Bagan (By Boat with Shwekeinnery Boat) B, L , D

Early morning breakfast at hotel, transfer to jetty. A whole day boat trip to Bagan, while you can ride the activities on the Mighty Ayeyarwaddy River, you will arrive in Bagan on late afternoon. Check in and overnight at hotel in Bagan.
In the morning, return to Nyaung Shwe and continue to Heho for the flight to Ngapali. Transfer from Thandwe Airport to Ngapali Beach 20 minutes away. Here, in the Bay of Bengal is the beautiful beach of Ngapali with its charming fishing village and coconut trees. Relax on the beach or for the more active, enjoy various sports such as snorkeling, surfing or cycling.

Day 05: Bagan (Car) B, L , D

Breakfast at hotel. Morning sightseeing the Nyaung U morning Market to see people ways of life. Then visit the most significant pagodas and temples of Bagan including Shwezigon Pagoda built by King Anawrahta in the early 11 th as a religious shrine. Continue visit Annada Temple: a whitewashed masterpiece of Mon architecture with four standing Buddhas, and the adjacent brick monastery with the beautiful, well –preserved 18 th century murals. Visit to Thatbinnyu Temple know as “temples of omniscience” and dating from 1144 and the Sulamani temple.
In the afternoon, visit one of Myanmar’s most treasured handicrafts, a lacquer ware home Industry, the Sulamani temple and Dhammayangyi Temple (the massive temple in Bagan). Experience local Horse–cart way to Pyitthagyi Temple (15 mins). Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Bagan – Popa – Bagan (Car) B, L , D

Breakfast at hotel.You may continue sightseeing Temples & Pagodas and villages in the morning or take excursion trip to Mount Popa (45 km drive), an extinct volcano with spectacular views, 4981 feet above sea level. 777 steps lead up to the Buddhist shrine place on the top of the Popa peak.
On the top of mountain there are monasteries, pagoda and shrines indifferent styles. In the mid afternoon back to Bagan and you will explore Bagan from a different perspective as you explore the area by Pony cart. The cart can explore areas that cars are unable to enter giving a different feel of Bagan. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Bagan – Heho – Inle (Car + Flight + Boat) B, L , D

After breakfast, fly to Heho, gateway to Inle Lake. From Heho drive to NyaungShwe and transfer to your hotel for check in. Enjoy the full day tour by private boat in Inle lake. Visit the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most holy religious site in southern Shan State. Be amazed by the local handicrafts, silk weaving, wooden handlooms and traditional blacksmith methods along the way.
Visiting Inle Lake is not just about being on the water but also about discovering the Shan and Intha villages on the banks of the river. Pass the endless floating gardens, houses, monasteries built on stilts on the lake. Stop at Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery then proceed to Nampan village and see local cheroot factory (where the Burmese cigars are made) . Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Inle – Indein (Boat) B, L , D

Continue sightseeing in Inle Lake, manoeuvring by boat though long, scenic channels where you can watch the farmers cultivate their produce in “floating gardens”. You will visit the fascinating village of Indein, with it’s complex of ancient shrines and stupas and walk though exotic colonnades of stairways and shop stalls.
You’ll visit the “long neck” tribal women, and weaving and craft villages perched on stilts. See the lake’s unique “leg rowers” – the Intha people row standing up with one leg wrapped around an oar. It is a feast for the senses and a photographer’s dream. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09: Inle – Heho – Ngapali Beach (Boat + Car + Flight)

In the morning, return to Nyaung Shwe and continue to Heho for the flight to Ngapali. Transfer from Thandwe Airport to Ngapali Beach 20 minutes away. Day 13: Ngapali – Yangon (Car + Flight) B, L , D

Morning flight back to Yangon. Then enjoy a visit to Scott Market, the sprawling 75-year-old Market. At the market you will find a whole variety of interesting Burmese souvenirs, from lacquer ware to gems & jewelry – bargain at the stores to fully experience the Burmese market atmosphere! Drive through the city and observe the influences of other cultures in the region.
Intersperse in the tour are various religious sites such as the St Mary’s Cathedral, built in 1899, and the Buddhist landmarks of Sule Paya and over 100 year old beautiful Rangoon Synagogue. In there you will have the opportunity to meet with Trustee of the Synagogue to learn the Jewish Life in the Pagoda Land.
Then visit Little India and Chinatown – stop to greet the vendors and let them introduce you to their wares – some familiar, some exotic. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14: Yangon – Departure (Car transfer only) B

After breakfast, day at leisure until transfer to airport for International departure flight.
